Helping Families Prepare for the School Year with Essential Resources and Community Support
The start of a new school year is filled with excitement, new opportunities, and fresh beginnings. For many families, however, preparing children for school can also bring financial challenges as they balance the cost of school supplies with everyday household needs.
At Family Life Project, we believe that every child deserves to begin the school year feeling confident, prepared, and ready to learn. We also believe that supporting children starts with supporting the families who care for them every day.
In partnership with New Life Christian Center, Family Life Project is honored to host a special Back-to-School Giveaway that provides more than school supplies.
Along with backpacks and essential school items, families will also receive free groceries through the church's Food Pantry, helping meet both educational and immediate household needs.

What Families Will Receive
Families attending the event will receive:
FREE backpack
FREE school supplies
FREE groceries through the New Life Christian Center Food Pantry
Items will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Approximately 50 backpacks will be available for children attending the event.
Supporting Families with Compassion
Preparing for school involves more than purchasing notebooks, pencils, and backpacks. For many families, it also means making difficult decisions about balancing educational expenses with everyday necessities.
This Back-to-School Giveaway was created to help ease some of that burden. By providing school supplies alongside groceries, Family Life Project and New Life Christian Center hope to give families practical support while reminding them they are surrounded by a community that cares.
When parents feel supported, children are better able to focus on learning, growing, and reaching their full potential.
More Than a Backpack
A backpack represents much more than school supplies.
It represents encouragement for a child walking into a new classroom, confidence for the first day of school, and hope for the opportunities that education can bring.
For families, it represents the kindness of a community willing to come together to help one another during times of need.
Every backpack distributed is a reminder that no family has to face life's challenges alone.

We are especially thankful to the Tools for School program for their generous donation of backpacks. Their support helps provide children with the supplies they need to begin the school year feeling prepared, confident, and ready to learn.

By opening their doors and providing groceries through their Food Pantry, they are helping meet immediate needs while bringing hope and encouragement to our community.
